About the Opportunity
If you’re a marketing student obsessed with digital, want real results on your resume (not just “class projects”), and you’re curious about healthcare, this role is for you. You’ll help an established pain management and regenerative medicine practice grow its online presence and patient volume.
What You’ll Do (with support and guidance)
- Assist with SEO: keyword research, on-page optimization, basic content updates.
- Improve website vibe & UX: page layout, clarity, calls-to-action.
- Support light website edits (WordPress or similar; basic HTML/CSS a plus).
- Help set up and optimize Google Ads and Facebook/Instagram Ads.
- Draft and schedule posts across our social media channels.
- Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, etc.) to draft content, headlines, ad variations, and do basic research.
- Pull simple reports from analytics tools to see what’s working.
What You’ll Learn / Get (your “ROI”)
- How a real healthcare practice uses SEO, ads, and social to drive patient inquiries.
- How to turn marketing activity into metrics, reports, and portfolio pieces.
- Mentorship from an experienced clinical and business team.
- Flexibility: mostly asynchronous work, remote, with clear weekly outcomes instead of busywork.
- Strong reference and potential part-time ongoing work during the school year if we both like working together.
Ideal Fit
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Comfortable with: basic SEO concepts, social media, and learning new tools quickly.
- Bonus if you’ve tinkered with: Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, WordPress, or basic coding (HTML/CSS).
- You’re detail-oriented, ask questions, and like testing / improving things based on data.
Time & Pay
- Summer: ~15–20 hours per week, flexible around your schedule.
- Competitive hourly pay, discussed during the interview for the right candidate.
- Option to continue 5–10 hours/week during the academic year.
