Occasions By M is seeking a creative and motivated content creator or aspiring filmmaker to assist in documenting luxury culinary experiences, chef collaborations, private dining events, and behind-the-scenes storytelling throughout North Carolina.
This opportunity is ideal for film students, photographers, videographers, marketing creatives, or storytellers looking to build a strong portfolio while working within the hospitality, tourism, and culinary industries.
Our company specializes in chef-led experiences, private dining, curated events, retreats, and immersive culinary activations focused on storytelling, culture, and connection.
Responsibilities
- Capture behind-the-scenes video and photo content during events and travel
- Assist in documenting chef collaborations, guest experiences, and venue partnerships
- Create short-form vertical content for social media platforms
- Support storytelling through cinematic footage and event coverage
- Assist with basic editing, organization, and content delivery
- Work closely with Chef Michael McCray to help visually document the growth of the brand and experiences
Ideal Candidate
- Passionate about storytelling, videography, photography, or documentary filmmaking
- Familiar with TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or cinematic content creation
- Creative, dependable, and professional
- Comfortable working in fast-paced event environments
- Interested in food, culture, hospitality, tourism, or entrepreneurship
- Owns or has access to a camera, smartphone, or basic filming equipment (preferred but not required)
