Fundraising & Corporate Sponsorship Intern
Overview
This role is ideal for someone interested in sales, business development, or nonprofit fundraising. You’ll gain real-world experience in pipeline management, outreach strategy, and sponsor acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cold outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to prospective sponsors and donors
- Assist in building and managing a fundraising pipeline (CRM tracking, follow-ups, reporting)
- Identify and research potential corporate sponsors and partners
- Support development of sponsorship packages and proposals
- Coordinate meetings and handoffs to leadership team
- Track fundraising progress against goals and KPIs
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills (phone + written)
- Comfortable with cold calling and outreach (this is important—don’t soften this)
- Interest in sales, marketing, or nonprofit development
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
