Regional Operations Coordinator (PA)
Core Responsibilities
Scheduling & Coverage
- Schedule Ownership: Manage all staff scheduling via ConnectTeam, including adjustments, shift trades, and time-off requests.
- Operational Continuity: Proactively manage planned and last-minute coverage gaps.
- Direct Support: Step in to cover shifts personally as a Guest Lounge Operator (GLO) when required to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Staff Training & Oversight
- Onboarding: Train new staff on company policies, operational procedures, and customer service standards.
- Performance Standards: Enforce cleanliness, professional conduct, and operational rules across the team.
- Conflict Resolution: Identify performance issues early, lead difficult conversations, and escalate issues to leadership as needed.
Operational & Equipment Oversight
- Facility Excellence: Maintain high standards for lounge cleanliness and presentation.
- Technical Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for equipment maintenance, updates, and technical repairs.
- Hardware Upkeep: Oversee daily upkeep of consoles and PCs, ensuring equipment is updated, sanitized, and organized.
- Reporting: Proactively track and document all operational or technical issues for leadership.
Collaboration & Program Support
- Program Execution: Partner with the Program Coordinator to ensure seamless staffing and execution of events.
- On-Site Support: Provide quality assurance and cost-efficient support during peak hours or specialized programs.
- Brand Education: Educate guests and parents on Metro Esports programming, equipment, and safety policies.
- Team Synergy: Participate in operations meetings with leadership, staff, and external partners.
Creative Leadership & Regional Ownership
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the Experience Coordinator and leadership to co-develop and localize engagement strategies.
- Local Innovation: Lead the on-site rollout of community initiatives, tailoring experiences to regional demographics to drive repeat visits.
- Performance Analysis: Evaluate the success of new formats and share data-driven insights to help inform broader company strategy.
- Brand Stewardship: Act as the regional advocate for Metro Esports, ensuring a safe, engaging, and mission-aligned space for all guests.
Compensation Structure
Flat Leadership Fee: $350 per week (Covers administrative and regional oversight)
GLO Shifts: $15/hour
Special Events: Weekend Birthday Parties & Facility Rentals at $20/hr
Programs: Program-specific rates (e.g., Program Lead $20–$40/hr)
This is a part-time role (approx. 15–30 hours/week). While some administrative duties may be completed during GLO shifts, other tasks will require off-site work or dedicated on-site hours. This role offers high autonomy and creative control.
