Event Marketing Intern
Position Overview
Art of Tea is seeking an energetic, creative, and organized Event Marketing Intern to join our team in Los Angeles for the summer. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about marketing, events, social media content, and in-person brand building.
The Event Marketing Intern will play a hands-on role in representing Art of Tea at events throughout the summer, helping drive brand awareness, support content creation, and create memorable audience experiences. This person will also work closely with the marketing team to support event planning, recaps, and brainstorming for future activations.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Art of Tea professionally and enthusiastically at events, pop-ups, and brand activations throughout Los Angeles
- Help lead brand awareness efforts by engaging with consumers, sharing the Art of Tea story, and creating positive brand experiences
- Support the Social Media Coordinator in capturing event content, including filming behind-the-scenes moments, product shots, customer interactions, and branded event footage
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including merchandising, product organization, signage, and overall presentation
- Interact confidently with event attendees, answer basic brand and product questions, and help foster community engagement
- Support the marketing team with post-event recaps, notes, content organization, and performance observations
- Contribute ideas for future events, partnerships, and experiential marketing opportunities
- Help maintain event materials and ensure brand standards are upheld across activations
- Provide general support to the marketing team as needed throughout the summer
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Event Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field
- Strong interest in experiential marketing, brand partnerships, social media, and content creation
- Comfortable being on-site at events and engaging directly with consumers and partners
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed for event support
- Able to lift and move event materials and assist with physical setup and teardown
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and short-form content capture is a plus
- Interest in wellness, food and beverage, hospitality, or lifestyle brands is preferred
- Must be based in Los Angeles and have reliable transportation to local events
