Junior WordPress Developer
The Junior WordPress Developer Intern will support the design, development, and maintenance of client websites. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience building real-world websites while working within a fast-paced, innovation-driven agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building and updating WordPress websites using tools like Elementor, WPBakery, or custom themes
- Support website maintenance, including plugin updates, bug fixes, and performance optimization
- Implement responsive designs across desktop, tablet, and mobile
- Work with design mockups (Figma, Adobe XD, or UX Pilot outputs) to translate into functional pages
- Assist with basic SEO setup (meta tags, page speed improvements, image optimization)
- Support integrations (forms, CRM tools like HubSpot, email marketing platforms, etc.)
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide ongoing support for client sites
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS (JavaScript is a plus)
- Familiarity with page builders (Elementor preferred)
- Understanding of website structure, hosting environments, and domains
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow direction and meet deadlines
