Scope
The Marketing Specialist will support day-to-day marketing initiatives aimed at strengthening brand awareness and promoting the company’s products and services. This role will assist with content creation, campaign execution, digital marketing efforts, and event coordination while gaining hands-on experience in a growing industrial environment.
Responsibilities:
- Research, develop, and support the execution of creative marketing campaigns to strengthen brand awareness and promote company services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing initiatives and ensure alignment across projects.
- Create and manage content across multiple channels, including social media, email campaigns, and digital/print marketing materials.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating events, including trade shows and company-related functions.
- Maintain and update the company website and social media platforms, ensuring content is current, engaging, and aligned with brand standards.
- Support the creation and promotion of recruiting and employer branding ads to attract qualified candidates.
- Monitor and track marketing campaigns, including email lists and performance metrics, to support continuous improvement.
- Research industry trends and emerging marketing strategies; provide insights and recommendations to enhance marketing efforts.
- Support day-to-day marketing activities and special projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing or a related field
- Strong interest in marketing, social media, branding, and content creation
- Experience in creating and managing marketing campaigns required
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design platforms (preferred, not required)
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Technical aptitude a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Photo/Graphics Software
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work extended hours on occasion, including some weekends and evenings.
