Founding Growth Lead

kanso is a community-centered brand built for the modern presence seeker. we design phone-free social experiences and everyday goods that help people reclaim their attention and deepen their relationships.

we've grown organically across seven cities with zero paid spend. now we're looking for someone to take that engine and build it out.

the role

this is the founding growth role at kanso. you'll be full-time employee +1 and working directly with the founder to drive every part of how we acquire, activate, and retain people. organic content, paid media, creators, partnerships, press, community, email. it all sits with you.

you'll be on camera creating content, in the room at events, in dms with creators, and in inboxes with journalists. this isn't a strategy role with someone else doing the doing. you build the playbook and you run it.

we are looking for someone who wants to throw themsleves into their work, play a real role in building a generation defining company, and participate meaningfully in the financial upside. if you're looking for a strucutred 9-5 job, this is not for you. 

what you'll own

  • →organic social content strategy across tiktok and instagram
  • →paid media planning and execution
  • →creator and brand partnership development
  • →press relationships and journalism pitches
  • →community engagement on the ground at events
  • →email marketing and brand strategy
  • →unconventional growth ideas with limited resources

what we're looking for

  • →creative storytelling with a growth-first lens
  • →comfortable on camera and in front of an audience
  • →ad creative development and testing experience
  • →a track record of sourcing and working with creators
  • →experience pitching journalists and landing press
  • →willing to host and show up at events
  • →scrappy, fast-moving, and resourceful with limited budget
  • →genuine belief in what kanso is building
