We’re looking for a highly organized, motivated, and resourceful Business Assistant / Operations Intern to help support the day-to-day growth of a fast-moving restaurant, event, and entrepreneurial brand.
This position is ideal for a:
- Business major
- Entrepreneurship student
- Marketing or communications student
- Someone interested in startups, operations, hospitality, business development, or event management
You’ll get hands-on exposure to the real behind-the-scenes work of running and growing a business — from operations and vendor management to research, partnerships, marketing coordination, and strategic planning.
Important Notes
- Schedule flexibility is available for students
- Some work may be completed remotely
- Remote work and tasks will be tracked through productivity/time-tracking software
- Must be dependable, communicative, and responsive
What You’ll Be Doing
This role is heavily research and organization focused. Some examples of tasks include:
- Researching minority business certifications and grant opportunities
- Finding vendors, contractors, and service providers
- Helping calculate cost of goods sold (COGS)
- Researching events, sponsorships, and partnership opportunities
- Helping coordinate with social media managers, video editors, and creatives
- Organizing tasks, documents, and follow-ups
- Assisting with relationship management and communication
In addition to the hourly role, there will also be opportunities to earn additional income through special projects and business activations.
