Marketing Intern
About the Role
Capital Group is seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to support marketing initiatives across two affiliated brands: Capital Group Ventures and Capital Group Realty of South Florida. This paid, part-time internship is designed for current undergraduate or graduate students seeking practical experience in social media marketing, content creation, and marketing operations within a professional real estate development environment.
You'll work closely with marketing leadership and external partners on hands-on, real-world projects. High-performing interns may be considered for full-time employment after graduation.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Content Creation (primary)
- Plan, create, and publish original content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
- Support two brands simultaneously, producing a minimum of three (3) posts per platform per week, per brand
- Cross-post across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, tailored in format and tone to each platform
- Execute content from direction and assets provided by marketing leadership — including design, captions, and scheduling
- Follow established brand guidelines and adapt content for each platform's audience
- Submit all content for internal review and leadership approval prior to posting
Marketing Collateral & Campaign Support
- Help develop and distribute marketing materials: flyers, brochures, one-pagers, decks, email templates, event materials
- Support active campaigns, property launches, and special projects
General Marketing & Administrative Support
- Asset organization, marketing research, light project coordination
- Learn CRM systems and internal marketing tools for campaign tracking and pipeline management
Learning Objectives
By the end of this internship, you will:
- Apply marketing theory to practice by executing social media campaigns across multiple platforms for established brands
- Develop professional content creation skills — visual design, copywriting, platform-specific social strategy
- Gain hands-on brand management experience, maintaining voice and consistency across multiple organizations
- Understand marketing operations in a real estate development context — campaign planning, asset management, stakeholder review
- Strengthen professional communication skills by collaborating with internal leadership and an external PR agency
- Build foundational knowledge of marketing technology, including CRM systems and digital workflow tools
- Enhance time management by working independently in a hybrid environment with formal time tracking
These objectives are designed to align with academic internship requirements and support students seeking academic credit.
Qualifications
Required:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Major or coursework in Marketing, Business, Communications, Social Media Marketing, or related field
- Proficiency with Canva; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar tools preferred
- Strong written communication skills and attention to visual detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable and comfortable using time-tracking software
Preferred:
- Interest in real estate, hospitality, or development industries
