Junior Architect
A Junior Architect assists senior staff in developing architectural plans, 3D models, and construction documents using software like Revit and AutoCAD. The role involves producing design presentations, conducting site visits, researching codes, and coordinating with consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists with projects from start to finish, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients.
- Work with project architects and designers to develop 2D conceptual CAD drawings and 3D renderings for design approval
- Develop material color pallets and options
- Provide research for proper material specification and assist with material selection
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and project plans.
- Communicate with clients, architects, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that project goals and objectives are met.
- Assist with project budgets and financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and other project-related documentation.
Typical Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
- High proficiency in AutoCAD
- Strong graphic, verbal communication, and collaborative skills.
