Travel Experience Intern / Guest Experience Support

Travel With Meaning is seeking a reliable, organized Travel Experience Intern to support upcoming experiential travel events, and media projects. Preferred LA based.
This role will support Michael Schibel, Head of Travel Experience, with guest communication, pre-event coordination, logistics, and overall guest experience from the planning stage through the on-site event window, Wednesday through Saturday.
The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience in travel, hospitality, events, experiential marketing, customer service, or a related field. They should be highly responsive, detail-oriented, warm in communication, and comfortable helping guests feel informed, prepared, and taken care of.
Responsibilities
- Managing and responding to guest emails in a timely, professional manner
- Helping guests complete required forms, waivers, questionnaires, and pre-trip information
- Answering guest questions before the event and helping create a smooth pre-arrival experience
- Supporting guest logistics, schedules, confirmations, and communications
- Assisting with systems, templates, and automation to streamline guest communication
- Helping organize details for Sequoia and Joshua Tree travel experiences
- Supporting Michael Schibel and the broader team with administrative and logistical tasks
- Ensuring guests receive clear, helpful, and timely information leading up to the event
Ideal Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in travel, hospitality, events, experiential marketing, customer service, or a related field
- Strong writing and email communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable using Google Drive, spreadsheets, forms, email platforms, and project management tools
- Warm, professional, and guest-focused
- Able to work independently, take direction, and follow through quickly
- Interest in travel, outdoor experiences, storytelling, community, and meaningful guest experiences
