Field Sales Represenative: Auto/Mechanic Shops
ALL QUESTIONS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TOWARDS: us.hiring@micro-agi.com
About Us
- MicroAGI is a robotics company partnering with businesses across construction, manufacturing, food service, logistics, and the trades
- We pay their teams to film their everyday work using a phone and a lightweight head-mounted strap we provide
- That footage helps power the next generation of workplace robotics
- In March 2026, we paid out $5M+ to 10k+ workers across 12+ countries
- We're now expanding heavily in the United States, and are looking for experienced salespeople to help drive this expansion
The Role
- MicroAGI is hiring a Field Sales Representative to build our U.S. book of business across auto and mechanic shops
- This is a field sales role focused on walking into body shops, collision centers, mechanic garages, oil change stations, and tire/brake shops, finding the owner or shop foreman, and signing them up on the spot
- The pitch is simple: zero cost to the business, extra income for the crew, no workflow change
- This is a ground-floor sales role with a real territory, a real pipeline, and a direct hand in shaping how we grow the auto vertical across the U.S.
What You'll Do
- Drive your assigned territory every day, walking into 15–25 auto and repair shops to pitch owners, GMs, and shop foremen
- Run outbound campaigns between drop-ins: cold calls, cold emails, LinkedIn outreach, and follow-ups
- Pitch business owners and operations managers face-to-face and close them
- Build a book of business through referrals, repeat partners, and shop network relationships
- Run discovery, product walkthroughs, and close meetings end-to-end
- Onboard new shop partners and their crews once the deal is signed
- Coordinate headset logistics and on-site rollouts across partner locations
- Keep the CRM tight with pipeline hygiene, follow-ups, account notes, and deal tracking
- Hit the pavement with flyers, work local trade associations, parts suppliers, and industry events
What We're Looking For
- Prior sales experience, especially B2B, field sales, or selling into blue-collar industries
- No hesitation around cold outreach, whether that means cold calls, walk-ins, or door-knocking
- Strong communicator, comfortable talking to a foreman covered in grease or a shop owner in a back office
- Self-directed, organized, and hungry, with the ability to run a pipeline without being managed
- Comfortable spending most of your day on your feet, in shops, in any condition
- Experience with CRM tools like GoHighLevel, HubSpot, or Apollo is a plus
- Familiarity with auto repair, collision, mechanical trades, or the broader trades is a strong plus
