Overview
We are seeking an entrepreneurial, proactive, and curious team player to join our fast-paced startup environment for a 3-month summer internship.
What You’ll Do
- User-Flow Support: Capture notes in weekly planning with Product and help draft initial user flows.
- Design System Updates (Figma): curating components for standardization and eventual alignment with the repo.
- Design System Audit (Storybook): identifying missing components / outdated UI and collecting candidates.
- Internship Project: Over 12 weeks, manage your project, which will be presented to the entire company.
What You Need
- Self-starter mindset with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Portfolio that shows solid visual craft and attention to detail.
- Interest in (or experience with) design engineering: building UI with HTML/CSS and component-based frameworks (e.g., React).
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Currently studying (or recently graduated in) Product Design, Design Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Figma
- Familiarity with Visual Studio Code
- Ability to give and receive feedback from Product and Engineering teams.
Work Setup
- Onsite: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday in our NYC office
