Home Field Games City Intern

Homefield is a sports platform — think fantasy sports, but you play at bars and restaurants (+ frats, dorms, apts…) with the people around you. We're an AI-first sports company building the future of how fans watch games together.

We’re selecting candidates in major cities to help launch and grow Homefield on the ground during:

  • NBA & NHL Playoffs (Spring)
  • FIFA World Cup (Summer)
  • College Football & NFL (Fall)

You’ll be operating in real environments, shaping and influencing how people experience and watch sports.

We’re looking for enthusiastic, smart, scrappy and driven students who want to help shape product at an exciting sports startup. Marketing, sports management, business, or communications majors preferred but not required.

The founding team is Midwest-born, based in SF/Silicon Valley, and has worked at companies like Tesla, Louis Vuitton and Walmart (with a Badger alum on the board).

 

1. Activate real environments 🏀 🏒 ⚽ 🏈

  • Attend sports bars and watch parties during major games
  • Introduce Homefield to people already watching
  • Create energy and participation in real time

2. Build local network

  • Identify top sports bars, watch spots, and fan communities
  • Build relationships with venue staff and regulars (this is huge)
  • Create go-to-market plan for local hospitality venues, restaurant/bar managers, clubs
  • Bring in 2–3 additional operators (friends, org members, teammates) who have an interest in sports/marketing/startups
  • Act as the point person for Homefield at UW

3. Report + collaborate 📈

  • Share insights with the founding team helping to shape GTM and product strategy
  • Work with founders on customer feedback
  • Track engagement: players, games, repeat usage
