About the Role
We’re looking for a talented Packaging Designer to create a standout, shelf-ready package for our new consumer product line at Aethuron Industries. This is a high-visibility project where your design will directly shape how customers discover, trust, and purchase our product.
You’ll own the full packaging design process — from initial concepts to final production-ready files — for a premium everyday consumer good.
What You’ll Do
- Develop creative packaging concepts that clearly communicate our brand story, values, and product benefits
- Design primary and secondary packaging (boxes, labels, inserts, etc.)
- Create 3D mockups and high-quality renderings for stakeholder presentations
- Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements and manufacturing constraints
- Collaborate closely with the founder, marketing team, and suppliers
- Iterate quickly based on feedback and consumer testing insights
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a design-related program (Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Packaging Design, Visual Communication, etc.)
- Strong portfolio showcasing packaging design work (student or personal projects welcome)
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Understanding of print production, materials, and die-lines
- Knowledge of structural packaging design
- Passion for consumer products and branding
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Must be able to commute to Torrance, CA for on-site work
Bonus Points For
- Proficiency in logo design
- Experience with CAD software (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Motion or 3D animation skills for social content
- Local candidates in the South Bay / Los Angeles area
