Social Media Intern

Position Overview:
The Social Media Intern will support the marketing team in executing day-to-day social media activities, contributing to content creation, audience engagement, and performance tracking. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in digital marketing and brand communication.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, and publish engaging content across social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X)
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual identity
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and foster community engagement
  • Conduct research on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitor strategies
  • Support campaign planning and execution, including promotions and partnerships
  • Track key performance metrics (engagement, reach, growth) and compile reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as design, marketing, and communications

Required Qualifications:

  • Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and trends
  • Basic understanding of content creation tools (e.g., Canva or similar)
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience creating short-form video content
  • Knowledge of social media analytics tools
  • Basic graphic design or video editing skills
  • Creative thinking and ability to generate new content ideas
