About the Role
CARVINGBLOCK is seeking a Content Intern to support weekly iPhone photo and video content capture for a West Village–based restaurant.
This role is designed for someone who understands how to capture energy, not just document food. You will be working in a live restaurant environment, capturing real-time moments across service, guests, and atmosphere for use across Instagram and TikTok.
Responsibilities
- Capture weekly iPhone photo and video content on-site during active service
- Shoot short-form video aligned with Instagram Reels and TikTok formats
- Identify and document key moments including dishes, staff, guest interactions, and overall ambiance
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, low-light environment
- Deliver raw selects or lightly edited clips for internal use
- Collaborate with CARVINGBLOCK team members on content direction and priorities
- Maintain consistency in visual quality and tone across content
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program (marketing, communications, film, photography, etc.)
- Strong iPhone shooter with experience in both photo and video
- Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok content formats and trends
- Comfortable working in a live restaurant setting
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
- Portfolio required (Instagram, TikTok, or samples of work)

- NYC-based candidates only
- Availability for once per week or every other week in the West Village
- Paid internship (compensation based on experience)
