Charity Event Manager

About Apex Precision

Apex Precision is a Little Rock-based marketing and events firm that partners with nonprofit organizations to execute high-impact, face-to-face fundraising campaigns. We believe in growing our people from within — most of our leadership team started exactly where you're starting.

About the role

As a Charity Event Manager, you'll oversee the planning, coordination, and on-site execution of fundraising events on behalf of our nonprofit clients across Little Rock. You'll manage event logistics, lead a small team, engage with the public, and make sure every event reflects the mission and professionalism of the organizations we represent. This is a fully in-person role — no remote or hybrid options are available.

What you'll do

  • Plan and coordinate charity fundraising events at retail locations and community venues across Little Rock
  • Serve as the on-site lead — managing setup, execution, and teardown of event displays and materials
  • Engage members of the public in meaningful conversations about our nonprofit clients' missions
  • Recruit, train, and motivate event team members to hit daily participation and fundraising goals
  • Track donor sign-ups, event metrics, and performance data and report results to leadership
  • Maintain strong relationships with venue contacts and client representatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve event efficiency, donor experience, and team performance

What we're looking for

  • Strong communicator who is confident speaking with the public and leading a team
  • Organized and detail-oriented — able to manage multiple moving parts on event day
  • Natural leader with a positive, coachable attitude
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, face-to-face environments
  • Reliable and available for a full-time schedule including some weekends
  • Experience in events, fundraising, sales, hospitality, or customer service is a plus — not required
  • Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
