Pay Range: $18 - $20 per hour

HOURS: 15-20 hours per week (flexible based on academic schedule)

About the Role: 

Are you looking to gain real-world experience in paid media at a purpose-driven marketing agency? 

Sagent is seeking a part-time paid media intern to join our growing media team. This internship is designed to provide skills supporting traditional and digital paid media campaigns in an agency environment. By the end of the internship, you will have gained practical knowledge working with industry-standard media and analytics tools, collaborating with internal teams and media partners, and supporting live client campaigns from planning through reporting. 

What You’ll DO: 

Paid Media & Campaign Support

  • Assist with the planning, execution, optimization, and reporting of paid media campaigns across traditional and digital channels.
  • Support administrative media tasks such as media orders, creative asset trafficking, reporting updates, and invoice reconciliation.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Help generate performance reports while learning how to identify trends, optimization opportunities, and data discrepancies.
  • Gain exposure to media and analytics platforms such as Google Campaign Manager 360, Google Analytics, GaleForce, and Workamajig.

Collaboration & Research

  • Communicate with internal teams and external media partners on media buying initiatives.
  • Conduct online research to support client campaigns and new business efforts.

General Support

  • Contribute to additional projects and tasks as needed, supporting the media team’s day-to-day work.

What We are Looking for: 

  • Undergraduate student (or recent graduate) pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency or coursework experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; comfort working with numbers and basic math.
  • Interest in learning media, analytics, and marketing technology platforms.
  • Familiarity with or curiosity about generative AI tools and how they can be used responsibly in a marketing environment is a plus.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule aligned with academic commitments.
  • Based in the greater Metropolitan Sacramento area. This role is hybrid, with occasional in-office time (a couple of times a month).
