Marketing Intern

Chicago-based financial technology startup offering a SaaS product that tracks the credit, risk, operational and legal terms of complex financing and trading agreements.

Open Position: Marketing Intern

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop marketing initiatives, from social media and digital campaigns to advertising and creative projects
  • Create a brand message that resonates with our target audience
  • Devise a strategic plan to fortify our brand's strength across campaigns, website, and promotional materials
  • Generate content for marketing initiatives
  • Implement SEO content production and analysis utilizing research and optimization tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs
  • Craft marketing materials including PowerPoints and one-page promotional advertisements
  • Participate in product demonstrations and actively contribute to client acquisition
  • Manage company websites to deliver a more user-centric online experience
  • Proactively offer suggestions for enhancing and refining our product

Skills:

  • Possess or pursuing a degree focused on marketing or a related field
  • Financial industry knowledge or experience helpful but not required
  • An advanced understanding of digital and traditional marketing channel strategies
  • Proven expertise in SEO content production and analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects by communicating with senior personnel
  • Highly motivated and adaptable
  • Entrepreneurial
  • Possesses sound judgment and integrity
  • Able to persevere in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Position involves varying levels of the responsibilities described above. Our employees gain invaluable exposure to the finance and legal industries while working closely with analysts and senior attorneys.

Interested candidates should reside in the Chicagoland area and be willing to work in person, 5 days per week in the firm's River North office.
