About the Opportunity

This internship is designed for a college student pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field who is looking to gain hands-on, real-world HR experience.

As an HR Intern, you will support a growing organization of approximately 160 employees across 8 states, gaining exposure to a wide range of People & Culture functions. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful HR initiatives while developing practical skills that translate directly to a future HR career.

What You'll Do

  • Support a defined HR project
    • Own and deliver an onboarding-focused project-including research, stakeholder input, and creation of practical resources-to improve how new employees are welcomed and set up for success.
  • Assist in organizing and analyzing HR data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Observe talent development and employee experience efforts and contribute research and content development
  • Partner with the People & Culture team to gather insights that support culture and engagement initiatives
  • Help document processes, tools, and recommendations as part of the final project deliverable

Key Internship Project (Capstone Experience)

Deliverable: A final presentation and/or toolkit that can be used by the organization, providing the intern with a tangible portfolio piece and practical HR experience.

What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership or Development, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Comfortable with technology, including navigating and/or building
  • Interest in building a career in HR / People & Culture
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Self-starter who is eager to learn and contribute
