People Operations Intern

 

Position: People Operations Intern 
Start: May 2026 – July 2026 
Location: USA – Fully Remote  

Salary: Paid Hourly $20-25 
 

Our Internship Program plays an important role within Hallmark Health Care Solutions and is a comprehensive introduction to People Operations in a mid-size corporate environment. Our interns work at a fast pace – just like all other HHCS associates. From day one as a paid intern, you'll learn what it takes to work within a successful business and acquire highly marketable skills and experience. It's learning by doing, not by getting coffee or filing all day. Our interns take on the real-world projects that impact the business. 

Position Summary: The People Operations Intern will have an opportunity to touch all areas of People Operations/Human Resources, and be deeply involved in areas such as: people reporting, recruitment coordination, organizational planning, culture initiatives, and much more.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Improve the Employee SharePoint to be a robust employee resource 
  • Assist in development of People Operations Process Documents  
  • Work alongside lead recruiter to screen candidates 
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities alongside People Partner 
  • Work within the HRIS to create various reports based on employee metrics 
  • Assist with collecting and analyzing employee survey data to ascertain trends 
  • Perform research on new development, onboarding and engagement trends 
  • Present HR concepts and ideas in written and verbal format 
  • Conduct independent research on HR-related topics 
  • Other duties as assigned by management 

Requirements: 

  • Must be a rising senior undergraduate or graduate student enrolled full time for the upcoming semester in an accredited college or university in Business Management or Human Resources.  
  • 10-week commitment with availability to start mid-May 2026 to early June 2026. 
  • Excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. SharePoint and Power BI are a plus. 
  • Strong organizational and follow through skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). 
  • Proactive, responsive team player who can thrive in a dynamic and changing environment. 
  • Motivated self-starter who is results-driven.
