Social Media Intern
We're looking for a creative, camera-confident Social Media Content Creation Intern to join our team. In this role, you'll be the face and voice behind our content, shooting, editing, and starring in posts that bring our brand to life across social platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, shoot, and edit engaging short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) while appearing on camera as the face of our brand
- Brainstorm fresh content ideas aligned with current trends and our brand voice
- Write captions, hooks, and on-screen text that drive engagement
- Capture behind-the-scenes moments, product features, and day-in-the-life content
- Manage the full content process from concept to posting — scripting, filming, editing, and scheduling
- Stay on top of platform trends, trending audio, and viral formats to keep our content relevant
- Post and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
- Engage with our community by responding to comments and messages
- Track performance metrics and share insights on what's working
Requirements:
- Comfortable being on camera and presenting with energy and authenticity
- Experience creating short-form video content (personal accounts welcome as examples)
- Skilled in mobile video editing apps like CapCut, InShot, or similar
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and current social trends
- Good written communication and a knack for catchy captions
- Self-starter who can take an idea from concept to finished post independently
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Nice to Have:
- Personal social media presence with a portfolio of content
- Basic photography skills
- Experience with Canva or similar design tools
