Community Services Intern

Bello Machre –  Community Services Intern (Summer 2026)
Part-Time | 10–15 hrs/week | 8-week minimum | In-Person | Carroll County, MD

About the Role
Bello Machre is now accepting applications for a Carroll County Community Intern for Summer 2026. This role offers a unique blend of administrative experience and community engagement. Interns will support compliance-related administrative tasks while also playing a key role in developing meaningful community experiences for individuals with developmental disabilities. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with administrative paperwork related to DDA (Developmental Disabilities Administration) requirements 
  • Support documentation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance 
  • Research and help develop Community Development Services (CDS) experiences 
  • Coordinate and build relationships with community partners to expand program opportunities 
  • Assist in planning and executing fundraisers and community events 
  • Help organize logistics, outreach, and setup for events and activities 

Who You Are

  • Outgoing and comfortable engaging with community members and organizations 
  • Strong organizational and communication skills 
  • Interested in nonprofit work, community engagement, or social services 
  • Creative and proactive in identifying new partnership opportunities 
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to balance administrative and event-based tasks 

Internship Details

  • 120-hour minimum over 10 weeks 
  • Part-time: 10–15 hours/week (flexible schedule) 
  • In-person role based in Carroll County, MD 
  • Must pass background checks 
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required 
  • Open to rising juniors/seniors, enrolled students, or professional development applicants
