Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician while ensuring comfort, safety, and quality care for residents/patients.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
- Assist with daily living activities and patient care needs.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Communicate patient updates to nurses, physicians, and families.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment.
- Follow all healthcare regulations, infection control, and safety protocols.
- Respond promptly to patient concerns and emergencies.
Requirements:
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
- Previous nursing experience in LTC, rehab, skilled nursing, or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and reliable.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends/holidays if needed.
