Finance/Fundraising Coordinator
Jason is seeking a Finance/Fundraising Coordinator to manage donor research, organizing fundraising events, coordinating candidate "call time," managing the donor database, including thank you notes. This role will implement digital, mail, and major donor strategies to meet fundraising benchmarks while ensuring compliance with campaign finance laws. This position will report to the campaign manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Call Time Management: Preparing call sheets, scheduling, and staffing the candidate during phone solicitation sessions
- Donor Cultivation & Research: Identifying new donors, managing the database, and fostering relationships with high-dollar and grassroots donors
- Event Planning: Organizing, promoting, and managing logistical details for fundraising events and, virtual, or in-person
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensuring all donations meet legal contribution limits, tracking expenditures, and managing donor follow-up
- Strategy Implementation: Executing the fundraising plan, including digital, email, and direct mail campaigns
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Organization: Extreme attention to detail to manage donor databases and compliance
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for donor outreach and event promotion
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with CRMs like VAN, NGP VAN, NationBuilder, and GSuite
- Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with state and federal campaign finance laws
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines
Time Commitment: This is a part-time position estimated at 20 hours per week. The election is September 8. The get-out-the-vote (GOTV) takes place over the three weeks prior to the September 8. You must be available during those three weeks.
