Pay Rate: $30–$35/hr (depending on experience)
About the Role
We’re looking for a fun, energetic Summer Camp Instructor to lead our Esports & Game Development Camp for elementary students. This program blends gaming culture with creativity, teamwork, and beginner-friendly game design concepts in a structured but exciting camp environment.
You’ll help students explore esports in a healthy, collaborative way while also introducing the basics of game development—no prior pro-level gaming or coding expertise required, just a passion for working with kids and tech!
Responsibilities
- Lead daily camp sessions in esports activities and game dev basics
- Guide students through structured, age-appropriate digital projects
- Foster teamwork, communication, and positive sportsmanship
- Manage classroom engagement and behavior in a fun but structured environment
- Support students with beginner-friendly tools and platforms
- Collaborate with other instructors and site coordinators
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and high-energy learning space
Requirements
- Experience working with elementary-aged children (required)
- Comfortable with technology, games, or digital learning tools
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Positive, patient, and energetic teaching style
- Availability for June–July summer camp schedule
- Prior experience in esports, coding, or game design is a plus (not required)
