Sales Rep: Printing/Signage

The Role

Help us bring robots closer to the real world. We're looking for a sales rep to build partnerships with printing, signage, and custom fabrication businesses across the U.S. The target list includes commercial printers, screen printing shops, sign fabrication companies, vinyl wrap shops, wide-format print houses, trophy and engraving shops, and packaging printers. The job is finding the right shops, getting in front of print shop owners, production managers, and fabrication leads, and onboarding partners whose press operators, screen printers, sign fabricators, vinyl installers, engravers, and finishing crew members do the kind of skilled, repetitive physical work that produces valuable robotics training data. This role will directly shape how MicroAGI expands into the printing, signage, and custom fabrication industry.

What You'll Do

  • Scout and qualify B2B leads across the printing, signage, and custom fabrication sector, including commercial offset and digital print shops, screen printing and apparel decoration companies, sign fabrication and installation companies, channel letter and LED sign manufacturers, vinyl wrap and vehicle graphics shops, wide-format and large-format print houses, banner and display printing operations, trophy, award, and engraving shops, embroidery and promotional products companies, packaging and label printers, flexographic printing operations, letterpress and specialty print shops, blueprint and reprographics services, and 3D signage and dimensional lettering fabricators
  • Run outreach campaigns through LinkedIn, Apollo.io, cold email, cold calling, and in-person visits targeting print shop owners, sign company operators, production managers, fabrication supervisors, and shop foremen
  • Build and maintain relationships with print shop owners, sign fabrication company managers, screen printing operators, wrap shop leads, and referral contacts across the printing and signage industry
  • Take calls, run meetings, and handle end-to-end onboarding of new printing and signage partners and data collection participants
  • Coordinate headset logistics and participant operations across partner press rooms, screen printing floors, sign fabrication shops, vinyl installation bays, and finishing departments
  • Keep the CRM tight by tracking pipeline activity across commercial printing, sign fabrication, screen printing, vinyl wrap, and engraving leads, flagging opportunities, and helping build the sales playbook for the printing and signage vertical
  • Get out in the field with flyers at print and signage supply distributors, substrate vendors, sign industry meetups, and local business association events, and represent Shift at trade shows like ISA International Sign Expo, PRINTING United, and Graphics of the Americas

What You'll Need

  • No hesitation around cold outreach, whether that's phone calls, emails, DMs, or walking into a print shop or sign fabrication company and starting a conversation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially when explaining something new to people who haven't heard of it before
  • Self-directed and organized, comfortable working without being micromanaged
  • Interest in AI, robotics, print technology, digital fabrication, or the future of work is a plus but not required
  • Experience with CRM tools like GoHighLevel or Apollo is helpful, but willingness to learn is enough
  • Familiarity with commercial printing, screen printing, sign fabrication, vinyl wrapping, wide-format printing, engraving, or the print and signage industry is a bonus
