Sales Rep: Dealerships/Car Wash

The Role

Help us bring robots closer to the real world. We're looking for a sales rep to build partnerships with auto dealerships, car wash chains, and detailing businesses across the U.S. The target list includes new and used car dealerships, auto auction houses, car wash chains, mobile detailing companies, reconditioning shops, dealer prep centers, and rental car maintenance facilities. The job is finding the right operations, getting in front of dealership service managers, car wash owners, and detail shop operators, and onboarding partners whose lot attendants, detail techs, wash tunnel operators, reconditioning crews, and dealer prep teams do the kind of repetitive, hands-on physical work that produces valuable robotics training data. This role will directly shape how MicroAGI expands into the dealership, car wash, and vehicle reconditioning industry.

What You'll Do

  • Scout and qualify B2B leads across the dealership, car wash, and detailing sector, including new car franchise dealerships, independent used car lots, wholesale auto auction houses, express and full-service car wash chains, tunnel wash operations, self-serve car wash facilities, mobile detailing companies, fixed-location detail shops, dealership reconditioning and prep departments, ceramic coating and paint protection film installers, rental car cleaning and fleet turnaround operations, dealer trade and transport services, and vehicle inspection and reconditioning centers
  • Run outreach campaigns through LinkedIn, Apollo.io, cold email, cold calling, and in-person visits targeting dealership general managers, service directors, car wash franchise owners, detail shop operators, auction facility managers, and fleet reconditioning supervisors
  • Build and maintain relationships with dealership service managers, car wash chain operators, detail shop owners, auction house contacts, rental car fleet managers, and referral contacts across the automotive retail and vehicle appearance industry
  • Take calls, run meetings, and handle end-to-end onboarding of new dealership, car wash, and detailing partners and data collection participants
  • Coordinate headset logistics and participant operations across partner dealership lots, service drives, wash tunnels, detail bays, and auction lanes
  • Keep the CRM tight by tracking pipeline activity across dealership, car wash, detailing, auction, and reconditioning leads, flagging opportunities, and helping build the sales playbook for the dealership and car wash vertical
  • Get out in the field with flyers at auto dealer association meetings, car wash supply distributors, detailing product vendors, and auto auction events, and represent Shift at industry trade shows like the International Carwash Association Show and NADA

What You'll Need

  • No hesitation around cold outreach, whether that's phone calls, emails, DMs, or walking onto a dealership lot and asking to speak with the service manager
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially when explaining something new to people who haven't heard of it before
  • Self-directed and organized, comfortable working without being micromanaged
  • Interest in AI, robotics, automotive technology, or the future of work is a plus but not required
  • Experience with CRM tools like GoHighLevel or Apollo is helpful, but willingness to learn is enough
  • Familiarity with auto dealerships, car wash operations, vehicle detailing, reconditioning, auto auctions, or the automotive retail industry is a bonus
