The Role
Help us bring robots closer to the real world. We're looking for a sales rep to build partnerships with lodging and guest services businesses across the U.S. The target list includes hotels, motels, hostels, Airbnb management companies, bed and breakfasts, boutique inns, resort housekeeping operations, cruise ship provisioning, and vacation rental turnover services. The job is finding the right properties and operators, getting in front of general managers, housekeeping directors, and property management companies, and onboarding partners whose housekeepers, room attendants, laundry staff, front desk workers, maintenance techs, and turnover crews do the kind of repetitive, physical work that produces valuable robotics training data. This role will directly shape how MicroAGI expands into the lodging, short-term rental, and guest services industry.
What You'll Do
- Scout and qualify B2B leads across the lodging and guest services sector, including full-service hotels and resorts, limited-service and economy hotels, boutique hotels and inns, bed and breakfasts, motels and motor lodges, hostels, Airbnb and VRBO property management companies, vacation rental turnover and cleaning services, timeshare resort operations, extended stay properties, cruise ship housekeeping and provisioning operations, RV parks and campground facilities, and corporate housing providers
- Run outreach campaigns through LinkedIn, Apollo.io, cold email, cold calling, and in-person visits targeting hotel general managers, housekeeping directors, short-term rental property management companies, resort operations managers, and vacation rental turnover service owners
- Build and maintain relationships with hotel operators, housekeeping supervisors, Airbnb management company owners, resort facility managers, vacation rental cleaning crews, and referral contacts across the lodging and guest services industry
- Take calls, run meetings, and handle end-to-end onboarding of new lodging and guest services partners and data collection participants
- Coordinate headset logistics and participant operations across partner hotel floors, guest rooms, laundry facilities, lobby areas, and vacation rental properties
- Keep the CRM tight by tracking pipeline activity across hotel, motel, resort, vacation rental management, and turnover service leads, flagging opportunities, and helping build the sales playbook for the lodging vertical
- Get out in the field with flyers at hospitality supply stores, hotel engineering meetups, short-term rental management conferences, and lodging association events, and represent Shift at trade shows like the AAHOA Convention, Vacation Rental World Summit, and regional hotel association events
What You'll Need
- No hesitation around cold outreach, whether that's phone calls, emails, DMs, or walking into a hotel and asking to speak with the housekeeping director
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially when explaining something new to people who haven't heard of it before
- Self-directed and organized, comfortable working without being micromanaged
- Interest in AI, robotics, hospitality technology, property technology, or the future of work is a plus but not required
- Experience with CRM tools like GoHighLevel or Apollo is helpful, but willingness to learn is enough
- Familiarity with hotel operations, housekeeping management, vacation rental turnovers, short-term rental management, resort services, or the lodging industry is a bonus
