Job Summary: We're looking for a creative, organized, and mission-driven coordinator who can own our social media presence and support the broader communications, fundraising, and operations work that keeps Fresh Start Worx visible and funded. This is a hands-on role, you'll be on the floor with us, capturing real moments, building real relationships, and making a visible impact on a small but mighty team.
+ Essential Job Functions
Social Media & Content (this is the heart of the role)
Manage and grow our presence on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
Post consistently three times per week with content that reflects our mission and community
Capture on-site photo and video — our best stories happen on the floor
Design graphics and visual assets using Canva or similar tools
Write and send newsletters and email campaigns via Constant Contact
Fundraising & Donor Relations
Manage donor platforms including Givebutter and GlobalGiving
Send thank-you notes, acknowledgment letters, and campaign updates
Support seasonal fundraising initiatives like Birdies for Charity and End-of-Year Giving
Handle monthly donor reconciliation and mailings
Events & Community
Help coordinate three annual trade shows and community events
Support our annual donor and volunteer appreciation event
Manage volunteer logistics and branded merchandise
Operations & Outreach
Manage Google Ads and Google Business accounts
Handle Facebook Marketplace sales from posting to delivery coordination
Produce annual and impact reports (3–7 per year)
Coordinate with vendors and manage print orders
Research tools and resources to keep us efficient and effective
Maintain organizational calendar in coordination with leadership, tracking deadlines, events, and key milestones
+ Education and Experience
Have hands-on experience managing social media accounts preferably for a brand, organization, or cause
Know how to create mission-driven content that feels authentic, not corporate
Comfortable in a non-traditional work environment with woodworking machinery
Can multitask and be a team play while also being comfortable working independently.
Care about workforce development, second chances, or community impact
Have used tools like Canva, Constant Contact, Google Ads, or are willing to learn fast
