Spanglish Events is a bilingual events, community, and experiences platform based in Medellín, Colombia. Alongside SpanglishEvents.com, we are actively developing and expanding two additional platforms:

• PachamamaCO.co — Eco-tourism and immersive nature-based experiences
• Renova.living — Medical concierge and wellness services

Internship Overview

We are seeking a Tech, AI & Digital Systems Intern to support the digital infrastructure across all three platforms. This internship focuses on practical, real-world application of web systems, AI-assisted development, and continuous product improvement.

This role is ideal for individuals interested in the intersection of technology, AI tools, web development, and product systems, working within a fast-moving, startup-style environment.

What You’ll Work On

• Supporting and improving website functionality and structure across all three platforms
• Assisting with design, layout, and front-end updates
• Managing quality assurance (QA) for:
  • Website user experience (UX/UI)
  • Event listings, formatting, and clarity
• Helping improve internal systems for:
  • Event entry and organization
  • Content workflows
• Identifying opportunities to improve usability, efficiency, and structure

Tools & Technologies

You will gain hands-on exposure to:

• AI-assisted development workflows (“Vibe Coding”)
• v0
• Cursor
• Codex
• GitHub
• Vercel
• (Optional exposure to tools such as Supabase or similar)

Because Spanglish Events is based in Medellín, Colombia, interns have the opportunity to complete their internship in person and immerse themselves in a full international experience.

Important Financial Information

Spanglish Events internships are unpaid. In certain cases, a limited stipend may be offered to support interns who demonstrate financial need or whose academic programs require compensation.

Housing, flights, food, visas, health insurance, and all living expenses (for in-person internships) are the responsibility of the student.
