Accounting Systems Technician

Full-time | Salary: $69,415 – $93,549 annually
The Department of Homeless Services & Housing is seeking qualified candidates to fill emergency Accounting Systems Technician vacancies related to the homelessness crisis.

What You’ll Do:
- Review and analyze financial records to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and funding requirements
- Prepare audit documentation, reports, and responses to audit findings
- Develop and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Support the design, evaluation, and testing of accounting systems and controls
Minimum Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited college with 21 semester or 32 quarter units of accounting including cost accounting and auditing AND:
- Two years of professional auditing or accounting experience at the level of LA County’s class of Accountant II
