Sports Newsletter Intern
5wins.com seeks a newsletter intern or interns for the Summer and Fall 2026 semester. We are a media startup dedicated to women’s college athletics, with a focus on storytelling and community building.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Aggregate news stories about women’s sports from other sources including digital, Instagram, X, TikTok etc
- Pitch and write newsletter content for weekly Monday morning newsletter
- Monitor 5wins outputs on web, social, and podcast for inclusion in the newsletter
- Attend weekly virtual newsletter review session of one hour or less, with the rest of the time researching and writing.
- Create social media content based on newsletter
- The total time commitment is 10 hours per week, from June 1 through Dec. 20.

Qualifications
- Academic sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student
- Ideally enrolled in a journalism, sports communication, marketing, or advertising program
- Passionate and knowledgeable about one or more women’s college sports
- Demonstrated interest and capabilities in writing, marketing, advertising, PR, social media, or communications
