Sports Journalism Intern
5wins.com seeks a journalism intern or interns for the Summer and Fall 2026 semester. We are a media startup dedicated to women’s college athletics, with a focus on storytelling and community building.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Pitch, report, write, and shoot as appropriate, producing one major feature and three additional pieces to be published during the fall-winter sports season.
- Attend weekly or bi-weekly virtual editorial meetings of one hour or less, and the rest of the time reporting, writing, and producing media content.
- The total time commitment is 10 hours per week, from June 1 through Dec. 20.

Qualifications
- Academic junior, senior, or graduate student
- Ideally, enrolled in a journalism or sports communication program
- Passionate and knowledgeable about one or more women’s college sports
- Demonstrated interest and capabilities in journalism
