Founding Market Builder
Founding Market Builder (NYC) – Retail Launch Team | Premium Food Brand
About the Role
We’re not hiring interns.
We’re building the first retail footprint of a premium chocolate brand in New York.
Le Chocolat des Iles produces true two-ingredient chocolate (cacao + sugar), built from an origin-controlled supply chain developed over nearly a decade.
The product is built. The supply chain is built.
Now we are activating the market.
This role is for people who want to build something from zero — not sit behind a desk.
What You’ll Do
- Walk into specialty stores, markets, and retailers across NYC
- Introduce and pitch a premium product to store managers
- Build relationships and open new retail accounts
- Gather real-time feedback from the market
- Help shape how the brand grows in the real world
👉 This is real sales — not theoretical.
Who This Is For
We are looking for people who:
- Are comfortable talking to strangers
- Can handle rejection and keep going
- Prefer action over sitting behind a screen
- Want real-world experience building something
- Have worked in restaurants, sales, sports, or fast-paced environments
You do not need prior sales experience.
You do need:
energy, resilience, and willingness to step outside your comfort zone
What You Get
- Hands-on experience building a brand in-market
- Direct exposure to retail sales and business development
- Performance-based upside (commission / bonuses tied to results)
- A path to leadership as we expand (early team = early responsibility)
👉 Strong performers will take on territory ownership and team leadership roles

- Lets you see the direct impact of your work
