About Us:

Print Studio LLC is a creative and fast-growing print shop in Chicago, specializing in large-format printing, promotional materials, business signage, car wraps, and more. We are looking for a Print Production Specialist to join our team and assist with the daily print operations in our shop.

Job Overview:

This is a temporary March 2026 to December 31st, 2026 (13 hours a week Monday, Thursday, and Friday) position with the opportunity for permanent full-time employment based on performance and business needs. This program is funded through the PRCC, a program designed to help individuals gain hands-on experience in a professional print environment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain large-format printers, cutters, and laminators
  • Assist in preparing print files for banners, signage, decals, and promotional materials
  • Monitor and ensure quality control during production
  • Perform cutting, trimming, and finishing tasks as needed
  • Assist with material handling, inventory, and shop organization
  • Work with the design team to ensure accuracy in print production
  • Support installation of vinyl, window graphics, and signage (training provided)

Requirements Puerto Rican Cultural Center Youth Employment Program:

  • Age 16-24
  • Must be eligible for employment under PRCC Youth Employment Program.

Qualifications:

  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, production environment
  • Must be able to work Monday, Thursday, and Fridays.
  • Experience with large-format printing is a plus but not required (training provided)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or similar software is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced shop environment
