Finance Assistant
Finance Assistant
Background
Dan is a West Point graduate, Iraq and Afghanistan veteran, a Rhodes Scholar, and partner at a small business. He brings his commitment to service and leadership to Virginia’s House of Delegates, ensuring that the Commonwealth remains a stronghold of democracy. The son of an immigrant and the grandson of refugees who survived the Holocaust, Dan believes that patriotism means taking on the hard challenges of our time. As Campaigns Chair for the House Democratic Caucus, Dan successfully led the fight to hold and expand the one-seat majority in the House of Delegates. In his role, the House picked up 13 seats, resulting in a 64-seat majority—the biggest majority since 1987. He's the author of Virginia's assault weapons ban and co-led efforts to unmask ICE in Virginia. He chairs the Committee of Counties, Cities, and Towns.
