Role Overview

This role is responsible for supporting the company’s growth by managing investor outreach, client development, partnerships, and strategic coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders. The position requires a highly organized and proactive individual who can manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining a clear understanding of the company's overall progress and strategic goals.

 

The role combines business development, investor relations, partnership management, and internal coordination in a fast-paced startup environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Investor Relations & Fundraising Support

  • Identify and research potential investors aligned with the company’s sector and growth stage.
  • Conduct outreach to investors through email, networking, conferences, and industry events.
  • Maintain and manage the investor CRM/database and track communication history.
  • Understand investor profiles, priorities, and investment focus to improve targeting.
  • Support fundraising activities including preparing materials, coordinating meetings, and follow-ups.
  • Monitor opportunities such as accelerators, startup programs, and funding competitions, and coordinate applications.

 

2. Client Development & Market Expansion

  • Develop and manage the annual trade show and industry event strategy.
  • Identify and evaluate industry events that align with the company’s market strategy.
  • Maintain and organize a client and prospect database.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and competitor positioning.
  • Assist in developing go-to-market strategies based on company capabilities and market trends.
  • Identify new client opportunities and potential partnerships.

 

3. Partnerships & Platform Integration

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to integrate the company’s technology into partner platforms and ecosystems.
  • Coordinate with internal technical teams and external partners to support integration initiatives.
  • Manage communications with partner organizations and facilitate collaboration.
  • Track progress of partnership initiatives and ensure alignment with company goals.

 

4. Client Communication & Project Coordination

  • Act as a communication bridge between technical teams and clients.
  • Translate client needs into clear internal communication for engineering teams.
  • Support project coordination to ensure smooth collaboration between departments.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of project progress and organizational priorities.

 

5. Strategic Operations Support

  • Maintain awareness of the company’s overall progress across business development, partnerships, and technical initiatives.
  • Support strategic planning by connecting insights from investors, clients, and market research.
  • Assist leadership with operational coordination and information tracking.
  • Ensure key activities and opportunities are well organized and documented.

 

Education & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus but not required.

 

Experience

• 1–4 years of professional experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Investor Relations, Startup Operations, or a related field.

• Experience working with technology startups, SaaS platforms, AI/data products, or infrastructure technologies is preferred.

• Experience in at least three of the following areas:

  • Investor outreach or fundraising support
  • CRM/database management
  • Trade show or event coordination
  • Market research and competitor analysis
  • Strategic partnership development
  • Cross-functional coordination with engineering teams
