- Job Summary
Business Support Interns provide operational, analytical, and administrative assistance to teams such as land, supply chain, or engineering that support efficient day‑to‑day business operations. This role is ideal for a student interested in gaining hands‑on experience in human resources, accounting, IT, communications, business administration, project coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities may include data analysis, project tracking, preparing reports, supporting regulatory compliance, and assisting with financial or technical documentation. Gain practical experience in business operations and administrative functions through opportunities to contribute to meaningful projects in a collaborative, supportive workplace culture.
- Responsibilities
- Lead an assigned project through to completion, including presentation to senior leadership.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Provide general administrative support, including scheduling, data entry, communications, and document preparation.
- Assist with maintaining accurate records, spreadsheets, and departmental databases.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting materials for leadership and team members.

- Assist with event planning, meeting logistics, and operational projects.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Operations, and other departments to support cross-functional tasks.

- Education & Experience
- Required
- Currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, Finance, HR, Marketing, or related field.

- This is an in-office internship based in the BKV Office in Fort Worth, Texas or Denver, Colorado.
- Working Conditions
- Primarily office-based with standard business hours; extended hours may be required depending on business needs. May occasionally be exposed to distracting noise while sharing office space with others.

- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to operate a computer, telephone, and other office equipment.
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
