Creative Services Intern

Summary: As a Creative Services Intern, you will work closely with our design and marketing teams to support the development of visual and digital content for our video game accessories. This role is ideal for someone with a strong creative flair, an interest in gaming culture, and a desire to gain hands-on experience in the world of creative design and brand marketing. You will assist in designing promotional materials, social media assets, product packaging, and more.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Assist in the creation of graphics, videos, and other visual assets for marketing campaigns, social media, and promotional materials.
  • Design Support: Help design product packaging, print collateral, and digital assets that align with the company’s brand and product vision.
  • Social Media Assets: Support the design and execution of visual content for the company’s social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all creative work follows brand guidelines and maintains a consistent look and feel across all media.
  • Collaborative Projects: Work alongside the marketing and product teams to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for new product launches, campaigns, and events.
  • Creative Research: Stay updated on trends in gaming culture, graphic design, and digital media to help inspire new creative ideas and keep the brand fresh and engaging.

Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in video games and gaming culture.
  • Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of video editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects) is a plus.
  • A keen eye for design, typography, and branding.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A portfolio showcasing your design work is required for application.
  • Previous internship or experience in creative/design roles.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and creating assets for digital campaigns.
  • Understanding of trends in the video game and technology industry.
  • Experience working with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or similar.

Disclaimer: The compensation for this role is $17.75 per hour. This is the amount that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position to be performed in California.
