Overview
The Development Relations Assistant will support the execution of the 2026 Faces of Fatherhood Luncheon (fundraiser) and assist with post-event donor data processing. This role emphasizes donor engagement, data management, and research to strengthen Fathers and Families Center’s fundraising efforts while also providing exposure to other key departments within the organization.
Responsibilities
• Assist with planning, coordination, and data processing related to the 2026 Faces of Fatherhood initiative (fundraiser)
• Review, edit, and upload donor information into Network for Good (CRM platform) following the Faces of Fatherhood luncheon
• Support donor stewardship by preparing thank-you letters and updating donor communication materials
• Conduct background research on potential individual, corporate, and foundation donors
• Compile supporting data and insights to inform fundraising strategies
• Assist other departments as needed to gain broader exposure to nonprofit operations
• Conduct follow-up outreach after the Faces of Fatherhood event to express donor appreciation
• Conduct outreach to individuals and corporations via email and phone
Critical Dates and Attendance
• Position is part-time, approximately 20 hours per week
• Strong preference to be available in person, though some flexibility may be possible
• Mandatory availability required June 1 to June 19, 2026
