Human Resources Intern
Our prestigious nonprofit, https://ChangingThePresent.org, offers outstanding Human Resources internships.
What you’ll do:
• Help build and run a high-volume, multi-track internship program across many roles and candidate types (international and U.S. students, multiple hiring pathways, and varied start dates).
• Support recruiting end-to-end: sourcing, outreach, screening, scheduling, and candidate communication with a high bar for speed and professionalism.
• Improve our recruiting funnel: write and refine role descriptions, optimize application flows, track pipeline health, and identify where strong candidates drop off and why.
• Conduct or support interviews and evaluations using consistent rubrics and clear documentation so decisions are fair, fast, and defensible.
• Help market our programs: build content for social channels, campus groups, and student communities; test messaging; and amplify stories that attract high-quality applicants.
• Build campus networks: develop playbooks for campus ambassadors, identify target schools/programs, create outreach kits, and maintain relationships with student orgs and career centers.
• Support HR operations: onboarding/offboarding checklists, intern tracking,
communications, policy/process documentation, and high-quality internal coordination.
• Work in a professional workflow: teams, shared tools, Kanban tickets,
• clear deliverables, and regular mentor check-ins.
