Position Summary
Shoreline Sightseeing is seeking outgoing, customer-focused Sales Team Members for the 2026 season. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for guests and play a key role in shaping their experience along Chicago’s iconic waterfront.
This position combines hospitality, sales, and guest engagement in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. You’re not just selling tickets, you’re helping people plan one of the best parts of their Chicago trip. Every interaction is an opportunity to create excitement and shape someone’s day.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and assist guests with enthusiasm and confidence
Promote and sell Shoreline tours and packages
Develop strong knowledge of tour routes, schedules, and pricing to help visitors choose their perfect tour experience
Recommend restaurants, attractions, and hidden Chicago gems
Manage guest inquiries efficiently in a high-volume setting
Maintain organized, guest-ready sales areas
Work at multiple waterfront locations as needed
Contribute to a supportive, upbeat team atmosphere
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
Professional appearance and confident, welcoming demeanor
Flexible availability (including evenings, weekends, holidays)
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Positive, reliable, and team-oriented
