Marketing Intern - Fitness
Are you a fitness enthusiast with a knack for storytelling and a creative eye? FIT180 is looking for a high-energy Marketing Intern to help us bridge the gap between "working out" and "community."
This isn't a "get coffee" internship. You will helping us reach more clients and build lasting partnerships in the local community.
What You’ll Be Doing
Marketing Calendar: Build and maintain a 3-month marketing calendar to ensure we’re consistent across all platforms.
Social Media Storytelling: Capture "in-the-trenches" content at the studio, edit Reels, and manage our Instagram/Facebook engagement.
Email Marketing: Draft our weekly newsletter (client spotlights, fitness tips, and studio updates) to keep our community hyped.
Local Joint Ventures: Research and outreach to local businesses (smoothie shops, physical therapists, healthy cafes) to set up cross-promotions and "member perk" events.
Design: Use Canva to create professional flyers, digital ads, and social assets that align with our brand.
Who You Are
Fitness-Minded: You don’t have to be a marathon runner, but you should "get" the fitness lifestyle and be passionate about health.
A Content Creator: You have experience with Canva and know how to make a Reel that people actually want to watch.
A Strong Writer: You can write punchy, persuasive copy that doesn't sound like a robot.
Self-Motivated: You see a "to-do" list as a challenge, not a chore. You’re comfortable taking an idea and running with it.
Fun to Be Around: We spend a lot of time in the studio; a positive, "can-do" attitude is a must!
Requirements
Currently enrolled in or a recent grad of a Marketing, Communications, or Business program (or equivalent experience).
Portfolio or examples of previous social media work/graphic design (Canva links are fine!).
Ability to commit to 15 hours/week.
