Marketing & Community Outreach Associate

About the Role

At Silver Lining Marketing, we work with nonprofit organizations to support their community outreach and fundraising efforts through in-person campaigns.

This position involves working directly with the public at events, helping raise awareness for nonprofit programs, and building support through meaningful conversations.

It’s a good fit for someone who enjoys working with people and wants experience in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent nonprofit partners at community and retail events
  • Speak with members of the public to share information and build support
  • Explain how donations are used and the impact they create
  • Assist with event setup and daily operations
  • Track activity and contribute to overall campaign performance
  • Work with a team to ensure events run smoothly

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable speaking with new people on a daily basis
  • Organized and able to manage time effectively
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Interest in nonprofit work, fundraising, or community outreach

Schedule & Requirements

  • Minimum 4 days per week (full-time preferred)
  • Must be available for at least 3 in-office days during the week
  • Role is fully in-person (events + office)
