Social Media Intern
Job Title: Social Media Intern (Unpaid)

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Position Overview:
We are looking for a creative and driven Social Media Intern to manage and grow the online presence of our Beach Body Competition brand. This role is ideal for someone passionate about fitness, content creation, and digital storytelling who wants hands-on experience building and executing a social media strategy from the ground up. You will work directly with the CEO and have full ownership of all social platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a social media strategy across platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content (posts, reels, stories, videos)
- Capture and edit photo/video content related to the competition and participants
- Write compelling captions and maintain consistent brand voice
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries
- Grow audience reach and engagement through organic strategies
- Monitor trends and incorporate relevant content ideas
- Track performance metrics and suggest improvements
- Support promotion of events, registrations, and announcements
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong familiarity with major social media platforms and trends
- Basic photo/video editing skills (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools)
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong written communication skills
- Passion for fitness, lifestyle, or event promotion is a plus

Compensation:
