Creative Intern
The Creative Internship is more hands-on and personal than our general Development Internship. You'd work directly with Jeremy Garelick (CEO, Writer-Director-Producer) and our American High team on priority projects.

- Summer Camp - In-person (Liverpool, NY)
- Spend the summer at American High! Work in a hands-on capacity in-person as a creative intern. Learn from industry professionals as you experience day-to-day in a film studio. Opportunity to produce your own SHORT FILM by the end of the summer using American High sets, costumes, and props. Focus on priority tasks such as:
- Helping film American High Shorts
- Script coverage
- Graphic design
- Creating promotional content for social media
- Various tasks that pop up day to day
- Spend the summer at American High! Work in a hands-on capacity in-person as a creative intern. Learn from industry professionals as you experience day-to-day in a film studio. Opportunity to produce your own SHORT FILM by the end of the summer using American High sets, costumes, and props. Focus on priority tasks such as:
- Creative - Remote/Hybrid
- The General Creative Internship is working directly with our American High team. You would meet with us via Zoom once a week to go over the previous week's projects, and to receive a debrief on the upcoming week's projects as well. You would be working on various priority projects, including but not limited to:
- Script reading/coverage
- Script breakdowns
- Creating promotional content (TikToks, edited commercials, etc.) for our internship programs
- Pitch deck construction
- Attending virtual filmmaking workshops with leading industry veterans
- Virtual location scouts for upcoming films
- Actor and Director shortlists for upcoming films
- The General Creative Internship is working directly with our American High team. You would meet with us via Zoom once a week to go over the previous week's projects, and to receive a debrief on the upcoming week's projects as well. You would be working on various priority projects, including but not limited to:
- AI - Remote/Hybrid
- The AI Internship includes working directly under our Head of AI, Hailey Tredo on the ethical use of AI in film. Immerse yourself in the use of modern technology in media and entertainment. Complete the program with your own AI-created short film for your portfolio and gain insights into how AI integrates into film production. Work on real-world assignments, contribute to American High projects, and develop skills in:
- Pitch decks
- Pre-visualization
- AI imagery creation
- The AI Internship includes working directly under our Head of AI, Hailey Tredo on the ethical use of AI in film. Immerse yourself in the use of modern technology in media and entertainment. Complete the program with your own AI-created short film for your portfolio and gain insights into how AI integrates into film production. Work on real-world assignments, contribute to American High projects, and develop skills in:
This position is highly competitive, you can pursue this internship as an experiential-learning opportunity or for school credit.
