Music PR Intern

Tallulah PR Remote Summer Internship (late May/early June - August)

About The Internship:

This is an unpaid, remote internship best suited for candidates eligible to receive college credit. As a small boutique firm, we offer an immersive, hands-on learning experience where you’ll work directly with the founder and lead publicist, gaining invaluable insight into the world of music PR.

 

This internship is designed to be an educational opportunity for aspiring publicists or music industry professionals eager to learn, grow, and build their skills in a collaborative, personalized setting. Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting press releases, media alerts, and other PR materials
  • Conduct research on media outlets and maintain media lists
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating PR for events and shows
  • Proofread and edit various PR documents to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Support media relations activities by pitching stories
  • Contribute to market research projects as needed

 

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Eager to learn and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management
  • Proficient in social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Facebook.
  • Comfortable using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
  • Awareness of current music trends
  • Strong research skills for identifying trends, outlets, and PR opportunities
